equipment needs approximately 100 qty. minimum
or more depending on the user's preference.
Rubber tire equipment needs at least 2 claws per
traction tread.
Recommended Applications:
Never fit a stud that is too long for the tread depth, i.e. an 18mm stud requires a 17mm tread depth. 3mm of the stud should be raised above the tire surface, which gives a margin of 2mm down to the cord. If unsure, choose a shorter stud model. There are several sizes to fit various tread depths. The correct distance between the rubber and hard metal edge is 3mm.
